Its a super easy way to get the same thick creaminess you get from ice cream, but without all the added sugar and milk and cream and fat and whatever else goes in there.
No need of an ice cream maker either. Just a food processor, and patience while that fruit freezes.Moreover, its naturally sweetened, dairy-free and vegan too. No wonder its called “nice” cream!
3-Ingredient Peanut Butter Banana Nice Cream
Ingredients
- 2 small Ripe Bananas, 180g
- 1½ Tbsp Peanut Butter, 24g
- Splash of Almond Milk, Optional
Instructions
- Slice (about ½ inch thick each) the banana and freeze for about 1-2 hours until solid.
- Transfer frozen banana into food processor and pulse until creamy. Add a Tbsp of almond milk if needed.
- Add the peanut butter and blitz until combined.
- Serve immediately as a soft-serve, or freeze for 45 minutes for a more ice cream-like consistency.
