Quick and easy Turkey-Spinach wraps rolled up with flavored cream cheese and crunchy peppers and onions and sliced into pinwheels. A delicious meal-prep lunch or party appetizer that comes together in 5 minutes!
Jump to RecipeI bought a package of deli turkey breast and lavash flatbread to make these wraps about 2 months ago, but some or the other recipe kept coming up. So of course this just kept getting pushed down the list
Of course that meat was going to go bad soon, but thankfully those fresh flatbreads were freezer-friendly. So they basically remained just as they were the day I got them.
Shoutout here to Atoria’s Family Bakery for this work of art: Deliciousness with whole ingredients and a beautiful green color to go with. Plus they deliver!
Ingredients for these Healthy Turkey Wraps:
All you need are a few simple ingredients.
A good quality tortilla or lavash flatbread – whole wheat or spinach are my faves.
Oven roasted sliced deli turkey breast – try to go for the lower sodium ones for these lunch wraps. I say this because most of these processed meats have quite a high amount of salt in there.
(Reduced Fat) Cream Cheese to keep the calorie count on these wraps low.
Some dried chives and dehydrated minced onion to add some flavor to the cream cheese.
Fresh spinach for nutrition and sliced red bell peppers and onions for a bit of crunch (and color)!
How to make homemade turkey wraps for lunch
Soften the cream cheese if you just took it out of the fridge, and the stir it with the dried chives and onions.
Spread the chive cream cheese mix on the flatbread or tortilla wrap and then evenly layer on the spinach and turkey slices.
Distribute the slices of bell peppers and onions on there, but stop a little off from one end. If you don’t the fillings will fall out when you roll up the wraps.
Press down the turkey, spinach and veg onto the cream cheese and then roll them up as tight as possible.
Place the wraps seam-side down and then slice them into pinwheels. You could also just have them as plain old turkey-spinach-cream cheese wraps. They’re just as amazing either way!
