Why Lavash?
One thin sheet – of the one I used at least – has a similar nutrition profile to ⅛ of a pizza crust. So just add some extra toppings, and you can have an entire “pizza” instead of just a slice.
Plus, you can use a whole grain lavash to keep things even cleaner.
How Lavash?
Just spread the sauce, add the toppings, and bake! 8 minutes at 400°F is all you need!

BBQ Chicken & Spinach Flatbread Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 Whole Grain Lavash Flatbread
- 2 Tbsp Barbecue Sauce, Recipe below, or use store brought
- 1 cup Spinach, 30g
- ½ cup Chicken Breast, Shredded, 40g
- 2 Tbsp Red Onion, Chopped, 20g
- 3 Tbsp Cheddar Cheese, Shredded, 21g
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Spread barbecue sauce evenly over the flatbread, leaving a ½” border around the edge. Do not use too much or it will make the bread soggy.
- Spread spinach on sauce, then scatter shredded chicken and onion.
- Top with cheese.
- Bake for about 8 minutes until the crust is crisp and cheese has melted.
- Slice with a pizza cutter and serve hot!
