Make this Thick & Creamy Peanut Butter Banana Protein Shake with some frozen bananas and peanut butter to crank up that vanilla. Sure to give your taste buds (and eyes) the time of their life!
Come on, look at that drip, you can’t say no to this!
Jump to RecipeThis picture is without a doubt the one I hold closest to my heart. It marks the turning point in my food photography journey.
I did used to look up inspiration pictures and spend a decent amount of time on the shots before this, but this one was something else.
I made notes of how to photograph it. All the items I needed in the background, the spoon in the front, that chocolate sauce with the crushed cookies, having a PB drizzle on the top….
Even took quite a while setting up the glass first and taking some sample pictures to get the right angle before finally going for it.
I was so happy when that actual thick shake also dripped so perfectly with the drizzle on top, I really wanted to cry.
The ingredients:
Its super easy to make and needs just a handful of ingredients:
- Frozen bananas (slice and freeze for about 1-2 hours)
- Peanut Butter
- Protein Powder
- Almond Milk
- Ice
I recommend using Quest Nutrition’s Vanilla Milkshake protein powder here. Its super delicious in itself and makes this protein shake taste like an amazing Peanut Butter Banana Milkshake!
The process:
Make this like you would a banana nice cream: Just combine everything in a food processor or blender.
Customize the thickness as you like it. Add more ice to make it thicker like a smoothie, or almond milk to make it thinner like a normal shake.
How ever you do it, it’s just so so indulgent!
