A rich and indulgent Triple Chocolate Protein Cookie Dough for one with cocoa, chocolate spread, protein powder and choco chips too! Single serve edible chocolate cookie dough is the perfect healthy and high protein dessert for the ultimate chocolate lover.
Jump to RecipeAn extremely rich concoction right here this chocolate protein cookie dough. I was going for a double chocolate protein cookie dough recipe with just the cocoa powder and chocolate chips, and realized that the protein powder is also in the chocolate flavor.
And because that wasn’t enough for this chocolate-obsessed person here, I added some chocolate nut butter spread too; So I guess we should actually call this a quadruple chocolate but still healthy edible cookie dough?
Ingredients for Chocolate Protein Cookie Dough
A few simple and healthy ingredients here for this high protein raw chocolate dough recipe.
- Oat Flour – You can make your own by blending rolled oats in a high speed blender
- Chocolate Protein Powder for high protein cookie dough, and also replace some of the sweetener.
I used ProteinWorld Whey; The ProteinWorld Slender Blend another great option. Code HAYLSKITCHEN gets you a discount on both.
A third alternative would be Quest. - Unflavored Collagen Peptides for an extra high protein edible cookie dough recipe. I use the one from Further Foods (HAYLSKITCHEN gives you a discount)
- A bit of Coconut Flour
- 1:1 Zero Calorie Sugar Substitute – I use Lakanto, to keep this recipe sugar free; (code HAYLSKITCHEN for a discount here too)
- Sugar free Chocolate-Nut Butter Spread/Nutella! I used the monk-fruit sweetened Nutella substitute – Suntella – from Lakanto for this brownie recipe since it’s sugar free (same code here too).
- A bit of Cashew Butter
- Unsweetened Almond Milk
- Chocolate Chips – I use sugar free regular ones from Lakanto (same discount here too). Lily’s is another good option.
If your protein powder is not sweet enough, you might need some more ‘sugar’, or use stevia sweetener instead.

To serve frozen double chocolate cookie dough, thaw overnight in the fridge, and add more milk if too hard.
Alternative ingredients for Healthy Edible Cookie Dough for One:
I made this healthy chocolate flavored single serving protein cookie dough with the ingredients listed above to make sugar free recipe, but there’s some other options you can try too.
- Oat flour: Use heat-treated gluten free flour or whole wheat pastry flour (there’s plenty of videos online on how to do this)
Just make sure you’re not eating raw flour - Protein Powder: Vanilla or any other flavored protein powder; You can also trying replacing this with more regular 0 calorie sweetener.
- Unflavored Collagen: Almond flour or more oat flour; I haven’t tried this myself though.
- Coconut flour: Try using about 3 Tbsp of Almond Flour. I haven’t tried this myself though. You might need to add more milk in this case too.
- 1:1 Zero Calorie Sugar Replacement: Regular confectioners sugar or coconut sugar (this won’t be sugar free though)
- Sugar-free Chocolate-Nut Butter Spread: Regular Nutella, or Chocolate Hazelnut Spread; Again not sugar free.
Another option is to use Cashew Butter, Almond Butter or Hazelnut Butter, but the chocolate flavor won’t be as dark. - Almond Milk: Regular milk or other non dairy milk
Vegan and Dairy Free Choco Cookie Dough
Use a plant based protein powder to get a Vegan protein cookie dough with the rich chocolate flavor; ProteinWorld has a Vegan protein blend as well.
The recipe is already dairy free since it uses almond milk and no actual milk.
You also want to make sure you use dairy free chocolate chips here.
