Ingredients
- 2 slices Whole Wheat Bread, 56g
- 2 Tbsp Vanilla Protein Powder, Whey-casein, 11g
- 3 Tbsp Unsweetened Almond Milk, 45ml
- 1 Eggs
- 1 Egg White, 31g
- ⅛ tsp Cinnamon, Optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a large ramekin.
- Cut bread into 1" cubes.
- In a blender, combine protein powder, almond milk, eggs, egg whites and cinnamon.Transfer into a bowl.
- Add bread slices and gently mix (using large spoon) to coat well.
- Transfer bread mix into ramekin.Pour remaining liquid in.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes (cover with foil after 12 minutes) until mixture is set upto the top; Bread should be slightly crisp on top, tester inserted in should come out dry.
- Let cool a few minutes, top with berries and maple syrup and serve.

Yum! Wow I did my macros and it has 30 g of protein! You would never know that. So I had my own homemade sourdough bread that I used, I used a little bit more bread than the recipe called for bc it just needed it lol, I think my bread is kind of more dense so weighs more. And I also add maybe like a quarter or a half teaspoon of vanilla extract. And on top I added some frozen blueberries that I microwaved and smushed a little bit. I will definitely be making this again. Very easy. And like I said I can’t believe this has 30 g of protein. I do like my things more on the sweeter side. So I may add some monk fruit sugar next time I try it.
