Jump to RecipeOkay to be honest, what I was really dreaming about was this homemade Starbucks Double Chocolate Chip Frappuccino. A Starbucks copycat recipe at home without spending all that money? Who would say no, right?
But I’d already committed to revamping one of my old blog posts with new pictures, so here we are.
No regrets though, because this smoothie turned out so rich and so chocolatey, and SO creamy with those oats in there!
P.S. don’t be skeptical about oats; This chocolate oat protein smoothie is a keeper!

Honestly I’m not a protein or smoothie kinda girl. But I got a big jar of chocolate protein powder and I’ve been looking for a recipe without bananas to use for after my workouts. This one is a godsend. I didn’t have cocoa powder so i added a teaspoon of chocolate syrup and it wrapped it together nicely. Really recommend!
You really made me (and this chocolate oatmeal protein smoothie recipe) feel special Emma!
Avoiding the banana but getting that protein and clean carbs after a workout is what I was looking for here as well.
So happy you loved it!
Hi guys,
Honestly, I don’t like the oats recipe, I got bored and searching new recipes, I found this website. Actually, I was scared to try the oats recipe. Because it’s so creamy and thick which I don’t like.
I would like to thanks Hayls’s Kitchen recipe, it was a sooper duper hit. I love it for the very time, Oats recipes. I can’t believe this. I am trying every day and enjoying the oats.
Really appreciated your recipe.
Keep going.
I would highly recommend it to the oats haters like me.
Thanks

Thank you so so much Rama! This really means a lot!
I’m so happy I was able to change your opinion of oats with this protein smoothie; It definitely is a lot thinner than a creamy bowl of oatmeal, but still gives you that nutritional value. Enjoy!
