- Shredded Coconut for topping
How to make Giant Chocolate Cookie Cake
This giant chocolate cookie cake is very simple to make. It’s one of those wet mix + dry mix + bake recipes.
- Whisk all the dry ingredients in a bowl – flour, protein powder, cocoa powder and baking soda.
- Whisk all the wet ingredients in a (large) bowl – yogurt, almond butter, applesauce, milk and brown sugar.

Tips for Chocolate Protein Powder Cookie Cake
Here’s some pointers to make the best ever chocolate protein powder cookie cake:
- Use whey-caesin protein powder since it works well with the ratio of ingredients here; if you use whey, reduce amount of milk. I can’t say how this works out.
- Sift the flour and cocoa powder to avoid lumps and streaks in the batter.
- Don’t over-mix the batter or your cookie cake will be too tough because of the whole wheat flour and protein powder.
- Bake until the edges are dry, but center is still moist (when tester is inserted).
Cookie cake will cook while cooling in pan.
Store Double Chocolate Cookie Cake
This high protein double chocolate cookie cake can be stored on the countertop, fridge or freezer.
