How to make a Chocolate Protein Powder Frosting:
Other than being simple in ingredients, this sugar free chocolate protein powder frosting recipe is super easy to make.
All you need to do is:
- Whisk together all the ingredients in a bowl, or just stir them together:
Greek yogurt, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder and a bit of milk or water.
Just make sure to add water a little at a time so you don’t end up with runny frosting.
And that really is everything!

Alternate Ingredients for Healthy Chocolate Frosting with Greek Yogurt
I made this healthy chocolate frosting a low sugar recipe using Greek yogurt and protein powder, but here’s some options you can try.
- Chocolate Protein Powder: Use vanilla (it won’t be as rich though)
- Greek Yogurt: Coconut Yogurt
- Water: Milk
For Vegan Protein Powder Frosting Recipe:
To make a Vegan chocolate protein powder frosting recipe, use a coconut or almond yogurt instead of the greek yogurt.
Be sure to also use a plant based protein powder in this case. ProteinWorld has a Vegan protein blend (HAYLSKITCHEN for the discount here too) that would work well here.
