Ingredients for Homemade Protein 100 Grand Bars
These protein 100 Grand bars require just simple healthy pantry staples, so it’s the perfect recipe for homemade chocolate and caramel crunch protein bars!
The Chocolate Base
- Sugar free Chocolate Bar or Chocolate Chips: I use the chips from Lakanto here (HAYLSKITCHEN for a discount here). Another option is Lily’s Bar or Chocolate Chips.
- Coconut Oil so the chocolate is easier to melt and more smooth when you drizzle.
The Peanut Butter Protein Caramel Layer
These raw Snickers protein bars use a high protein and sugar free caramel layer made with peanut butter powder and protein powder.
- Creamy Peanut Butter; I used American Dream Nut Butter Peanut Butter since it’s lower in fat and high in protein too
- Peanut Butter Powder, also known as Powdered Peanut Butter. I recommend Lakanto for a sugar free version (the code HAYLSKITCHEN gives you a discount). Or you could use the one from PbFit too.
- Vanilla Protein Powder for high protein energy bars, and also replace the sweetener.
I recommend Protein World Slender Blend or ProteinWorld Whey for this recipe to keep it sugar free; Use the code HAYLSKITCHEN for a discount.
Another option would be Quest. - A bit of Water
For the Crunchy Chocolate Coating on Million Dollar Bars
- Rice Krispies Cereal
- More Chocolate and Coconut Oil (same as above)
How to store Homemade 100 Grand Bars made with Protein Powder
These homemade 100 Grand bars need to be stored in the fridge since they have a runny peanut butter protein caramel layer.
Place protein million dollar bars in an airtight container and they will last for even a week.
This healthy 100 Grand bar recipe make great freezer friendly protein peanut butter treats too! Place chocolate caramel million dollar bars in an airtight sealed container, or individually wrapped in pastic wrap, and they should be good for 2-3 months. Be sure to let them thaw on the counter before eating!
