Mind-blowing Protein Biscoff Spread made with actual biscoff cookies to satisfy your cravings. High protein cookie butter spread is low calorie, low sugar and low fat too!
Jump to RecipeI’ve made a homemade cookie butter before, but man did I love this one SO much more!? It has actual Biscoff cookies in it, so no skimping out on the flavor here. Instead of adding any sugars though, I used protein powder as a sweetener, and some almond butter for enriching the flavor.
The result? The best protein powder biscoff spread you will ever have!
Here’s a comparison:
Biscoff: 170 cal, 1g P, 17g C (11g sugar), 11g F

Ingredients for Protein Biscoff Spread
This protein biscoff spread uses actual Biscoff cookies to give you the flavor of the original cookie butter spread, but healthy!
- Lotus Biscoff Biscuits aka Biscoff Cookies
- Vanilla Protein Powder for high protein cookie recipe, and also replace the sweetener.
I recommend the Quest Vanilla since it’s whey-casein and bakes well. - Almond Butter; This is what makes this cookie butter spread healthy, since there’s no oil and no butter in here like most other recipes.
- Almond Milk or any other non dairy milk or regular milk
Vegan option?
Original Biscoff cookies are Vegan (yay) and this recipe already uses almond milk (so it’s dairy free too!); To make a Vegan homemade biscoff spread, make sure you use plant-based protein powder. Taste and add stevia sweetener if needed.

Have you tried using peanut butter instead of almond butter? ˙ᵕ˙ do you reckon it would work !
Hi Nicola!
You can definitely use peanut butter here. The result would have a bit of the PB flavor, but it would work!
Love it! I used 85g of low calorie Biscoff cookies that I found a recipe for somewhere else, so this unfortunately didn’t have as much of a Biscoff flavour as it could’ve :'( but that’s my own fault lol! The spread texture is great, the process was easy, and it feels great to know all the protein per spoonful!
Next time I’ll use real Biscoff cookies, and the spread will be even more addictive 😅
My macros came out to 66 kcals per 30g so I’m happy with that 🙂
Oh you have to try with real biscoff! My husband loves biscoff and he literally kept going for more 😀
