Ingredients for Protein Chocolate Cracker Sandwich
This high protein chocolate cracker sandwich uses easy ingredients you probably have on hand already. Here’s what you need!
- Thin Wheat Crackers like Triscuit
- Chocolate Protein Powder: I used Quest Nutrition Chocolate Protein Powder for this recipe
- Chocolate flavor Almond Butter; I used Cozy Cuddles Almond Butter from American Dream Nut Butte (code HAYLSKITCHEN gives you a discount on these), but they have a lot of other chocolate-flavor ones too!
ADNB has a lot of other flavors that would go well here too. - Cocoa Powder
- Water
And for the Chocolate Drizzle:
- Sugar free Chocolate Bar or Chocolate Chips: I use the chips from Lakanto here (HAYLSKITCHEN for a discount here too). Another option is Lily’s Bar or Chocolate Chips.
- Coconut Oil so the chocolate is easier to melt and more smooth when you drizzle.
How to make Chocolate Biscuit Sandwich Recipe with Protein Powder
This chocolate biscuit sandwich recipe really is super easy to make and takes about 5-10 minutes.
- Combine chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder and chocolate nut butter in a bowl.
- Add in water – little at a time – and mix to form thick paste.
- Place about ½ Tbsp mix on half the crackers.
- Cover with another cracker.
Can you store Chocolate Biscuit Sandwich
These chocolate biscuit sandwiches can be made in batches, but will get soft after a few hours. I actually preferred them the next day when the cracker was soft.
To store, place cracker sandwiches in an airtight container and keep on the counter for a couple of days or in the fridge.
Options for the Healthy Chocolate Cracker Sandwich recipe:
No Chocolate Almond Butter? Use Nutella, chocolate-flavored peanut butter, cashew butter, or even just nut butter with a tsp cocoa powder.
Vanilla Protein Powder instead of Chocolate would also work in here.

Ingredients
- 20 Thin Wheat Crackers, around 42g
Filing:
- ⅓ cup Chocolate Protein Powder, Whey-casein, 30g
- 1 Tbsp Cocoa Power, 5g
- 1 Tbsp Chocolate Almond Butter, Recommendation below, 16g
- 2 Tbsp Water, 30ml
Chocolate Drizzle:
- ½ Tbsp Chocolate Chips, Sugar-free recommended, 7g
- Coconut Oil
Instructions
- In a bowl combine chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, chocolate almond butter and water (adding little at a time).
- Divide mixture on 10 crackers – about 1½ tsp each.
- Cover chocolate cracker with empty cracker to make sandwich.
Chocolate Drizzle:
- Place chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl and microwave about 30 seconds, stirring halfway, until completely melted.
- Allow to cool slightly then drizzle on.
