Pretty and pretty perfect Matcha Protein Balls studded with White Chocolate Chips! These green protein balls use nut butter and oats and are a great no bake snack or high protein matcha dessert. Option for a Keto matcha chocolate protein bites too!
Jump to RecipeThis might actually be quite embarrassing but I have never had or made any matcha related recipe before.
More than embarrassment I now think I have regret because the matcha flavor, especially with the white chocolate, is so good!
Another fun fact: I actually bought the matcha I used in these energy balls about 2 years ago back when the whole trend started. I just kept forgetting about it; Thankfully I got it before it went bad so I could get that nice green color here.

These easy no bake matcha protein bites need just a few simple and healthy ingredients and sre great for a homemade protein powder dessert recipe or even just a healthy snack!

How to make Green Protein Balls with Matcha Powder
These high protein energy balls really are extremely easy to make – a simple no bake, mix and roll recipe.
- Process the oats in a food processor to roughly shred – about 20 seconds.
- Combine the cashew butter, oats, protein powder, matcha powder and milk in a bowl.
- Stir until it forms a dough.
- Add in the white chocolate chips and then mix again with a big spoon
If it’s too dry, add just a teaspoon of milk, and some more oats if too wet. - Spoon out some of the cashew matcha protein ball mix, about 1 tablespoon worth, and roll it using your (clean) hands.
And that’s it!

These chocolate matcha balls are best stored in the fridge since they do have a bit of milk in there.
